It is our 99th day of school! Today we numbered 99 balloons which are hanging all over the classroom. Balloon number 100 contains a special prize which will be awarded tomorrow during our celebration. This weekend the children completed a homework assignment titled, "All About Me in 2009". This page will be placed in a time capsule which will be opened when the children are Seniors at their baccalaureate in the year 2020! We will also place many other fun treasures and memories into the time capsule tomorrow. In the hallway the children have displayed their drawings of what they think they will look like when they are 100 years old. 17 children have made the 1,000 Number Club and will be awarded a prize. They have worked hard and deserve a special award. Tomorrow I will be taking many pictures and hope to post a few.
