New happenings in the hive! The First Graders are now learning a list of spelling words for weekly tests. The first list was sent home on Monday. I will pre-test on Mondays with the final test on Fridays. Those that pass the pre-test receive a list of Special Spelling words. This list is challenging and provides enrichment to the regular list. Using magnet letters on the refrigerator makes for a fun way to practice words. Check out this website for more practice with spelling words. At this site you can enter in the words each week to create study lessons. Happy Spelling!
