MOVING AHEAD...COMMON CORE STANDARDS

Our Math and Reading Standards are set by the Common Core Standards. If you're wondering just what are the Common Core Standards all about...take time to view this video. This year I'm serving on a committee which is looking at how our students are evaluated. We are moving towards a performance based grading system. Our students will be assessed according to their performance of the standards. The letter grading system would be replaced with performance levels. This will take time and requires research and development. At conference I will share more information on the Standards with you.
