This is FIRE SAFETY WEEK! Please take time to visit with your children about an escape plan and meeting place outside. It's important to have a plan in case there were ever to be a fire at your home. It's a good time to check smoke alarms and replace with new batteries. We will review fire safety rules, read books about firefighters, dress up in firefighter clothes, and do some acting out of Stop, Drop, and Roll. Fire Chief Maynard Sherbert and his firefighters will be here next week to talk about safety with the children. They are bringing a few of the trucks and have a short program for the children.
