Students at Wakefield School are again collecting money for "Wreaths Across America". Wreaths Across America recognizes the cost of freedom. It is the wish of Wreaths Across America to bring veterans, their families, and our school children together, as a way of expressing appreciation for the past, present, and future sacrifices that preserve the freedom we experience each day. The money will be given to the VFW Auxiliary to be used to purchase Wreaths for Veterans graves. Any small amount of change will add up to a greater amount, so please remember our fallen soldiers. We only have until November 1 to collect our coins. Containers are placed in the classrooms. The class that collects the most will win a prize!
