SPELLING TESTS

The first graders have begun Unit 2 in Reading. In this unit they will learn to spell a group of words. Pre-tests are given on Mondays and list words are sent home. If your child passes, then he/she will receive challenge words. These words are not counted against the final grades, but used as enrichment. Grades will be given on the Friday final tests of regular list words. Please help your child practice list words at home. Reinforce the sound patterns in the words.
