PLACE VALUE GAMES
Here's a few games to practice using place value models to review tens and ones. With all the snow days we've had the children need some review lessons.

SNOW DAY #2
The children are probably very excited today to get another SnOw DaY! I'm thankful they can be inside where it is warm and safe. The wind chill is quite frigid out there this morning. If your child is getting cabin fever.....here are the spelling words for the week that they may practice!

Here are two letter sound games that the children would enjoy playing. They will help in the review of digraphs (sh,ch,wh,th) and L Blends.

SNOW DAY
I hope the children enjoyed the snow day...I sure did! I have the best recipe for snow ice cream!
Snow Ice Cream - 1 lg. bowl of fresh snow, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla. Stir and mix. Add more snow/milk as needed. Enjoy....yum, yum!
You can stay alert to cancellations and late starts by checking on WIBW and the school website. It is forecast to be very cold tomorrow morning. Please make sure your child is dressed warm! I look forward to seeing the kids again. It will be a busy week with trying to catch up!
