THANK YOU PARENTS

Thank you parents for taking the time to attend Parent Teacher conferences held this week. I enjoyed sharing the progress your child has made since the beginning of school. It has been a true blessing to watch your child grow and learn. I'm thankful to play an important part in this journey. Thank you for sending your treasures to school every day so that I can inspire and challenge them to new levels!

TECHNOLOGY TUESDAY

In reading this week the children are learning to break apart compound words. Here are links to a movie about compound words and a game. Also included in the lesson this week is a spelling game. In math learning to balance equations is an important skill we practice. The first game is perfect for finding the number to make the equation true. Keep sharp with addition and subtraction practice.

TECHNOLOGY TUESDAY

Groundhog day was Monday, February 2. Phil saw his shadow...so he predicts six more weeks of winter! With the colder weather we've been having it looks like he could be right. The children would enjoy playing in the snow. It just doesn't seem like winter without snow. In honor of "Groundhog Day" the children will learn more about the groundhog by checking out these websites.
