READ YOUR HEART OUT

The First Graders read their hearts out this month! The children read 140 books! I'm so proud of them. I hope they will continue to help their minds to grow by reading a book every day! Reading Book Log Sheets are due for the month of February. Please remind your child to record the minutes they read each day on the March Log Sheets that will be sent home. Thank you for helping your child be "Hooked On Books".

BLIZZARD DAY

Hope all you little bumbles are staying warm and cozy inside today! Brr....it's cold out there! Doesn't look like we'll get a spelling test in this week. I had switched stories around due to the short week and having some appointments. I will have a different list for next week. The words I had posted will be your words the week of Feb. 14. It doesn't hurt to work ahead. I'll keep you update on when we'll celebrate the 100th day of school!
