Monday- Cozy Up to a Good Book—wear pajamas or comfy clothes
Tuesday- The Cat in the Hat—wear your favorite hat
Wednesday- Wordy Wednesday— wear something with words on it
Thursday- Green Eggs and Ham—wear green
Friday- Fox in Socks—wear silly or mismatched socks

IF YOU GIVE A MOOSE A MUFFIN

The 1st graders made moose sack puppets and then performed the story of "If You Give A Moose A Muffin" for the 2nd graders. Great job 1st graders!!

VALENTINE'S CLASS PARTY

The valentine letter with names was sent home Friday. The children can work on making their valentines for our class party this week. We will make Valentine holders at school on Monday. The 1st and 2nd graders will open valentines and have refreshments Friday, February 12. Our class party will begin at 11:45. This is an early dismissal day. Students will be dismissed at 1:00. Wishing my sweet little bumbles a special Valentine's Day!

FAREWELL ANNA

Anna and her family are moving to Kentucky. She has been with the class for 3 years. I was Anna's First and Second Grade teacher. We will miss you Anna! Wishing you the best of luck!!

The 2nd graders have learned an addition strategy called the Arrow Method. It is just like a strategy that we use on a number line. Here is a video that may help parents understand.
