100 Days Celebration

The First Graders are looking forward to being 100 Days Smarter! We will celebrate the 100th day of school on Monday, January 31. I am looking forward to seeing the 100 day collections. Thank you parents for sending cupcakes to school for this very special day!

The children are probably very excited today to get another SnOw DaY! I'm thankful they can be inside where it is warm and safe. The wind chill is quite frigid out there this morning. If your child is getting cabin fever.....here are the spelling words for the week that they may practice!

SNOW DAY

I hope the children enjoyed the snow day...I sure did! I have the best recipe for snow ice cream!

Snow Ice Cream - 1 lg. bowl of fresh snow, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla. Stir and mix. Add more snow/milk as needed. Enjoy....yum, yum!

You can stay alert to cancellations and late starts by checking on WIBW and the school website. It is forecast to be very cold tomorrow morning. Please make sure your child is dressed warm! I look forward to seeing the kids again. It will be a busy week with trying to catch up!
