I can smell the pumpkin pie and almost taste the turkey, dressing and mashed potatoes! The children (and teacher) are getting so excited for our Thanksgiving gathering with our Second Grade Native American friends. This week for computers I've posted some fun games that have a Thanksgiving theme. I'm thankful for all of my students who make my day joyful! Gobble....Gobble! November is here! Time is flying by....only 24 days until Thanksgiving! The little bees are working hard to get their wings strong. This is our last week for this class of LIFT groups. Posted are a few games to help the children keep their phonic skills sharp. In Reading the children are taking an assessment over the Level 1.2. One of the tests will be to read the basic sight words taught in this level. Click on the game to practice basic reading vocabulary. Mrs. Trembath presented a lesson in Social Studies today about Needs and Wants. Here is the link of a short video the children watched today.

GOOD BEHAVIOR AWARD

The Bees are buzzing today! They have earned 115 good behavior marbles! I'm so proud of the children for working hard. We hope the weather will warm up on Wednesday because Mrs. Seirer plans to take the children to the Museum Park for a play day! Way to Go Bees....Keep up the good work!!
