FIRST GRADERS VISIT THE BANK

The First Graders visited the Farmers and Merchants State bank in Wakefield on Wednesday, March 3. The children learned how money is counted and sorted. They had fun going into the safe and looking at old money. The children pretended to make a deposit and acted out being a banker. A special THANK YOU to Phil and Millie for making our visit so special!

BOOK REPORT

I reminded the children in class today that their February Book Reports are due Monday, March 1. Please encourage your child to start working on their project if they haven't started. I will pass out papers to those that can't locate their report paper. Book reports will be graded. I'm looking forward to our report sharing next week!

Picture Day

Wear your SMILE to school on Tuesday! It's PICTURE DAY! Individual pictures and class pictures will be taken. Each child will have their picture taken. If you wish to purchase any pictures then you do so when the packets are sent home. If you choose to not purchase any pictures then you will return the packet.
