First Graders once again have the opportunity to participate in the 2013 Soil Conservation Poster Contest. The poster contest is one of many ways that we present conservation education to students in Clay County. For younger students, it often serves as an introduction to conservation and the Conservation District.
This year the theme is "WHERE DOES YOUR WATER SHED?" Information was sent home Friday. Posters are due by Friday, January 25. No names are to appear on the front of the poster. The information page will need to be taped on the back of the poster. Posters need to be returned flat - no rolling the paper. Here is a link to the website where you can read about the contest.
