LEARNING ABOUT HEALTHLY LUNCH CHOICES

Mrs. Cooper from the River Valley Extension District out of Clay Center visited the classroom this week. The children listened to a story about the "Lunchbox Surprise". She helped the children learn about making healthy choices by selecting smart foods from the food groups. At the end of the program Mrs. Cooper treated the children to fresh vegetables and dip! Thank you Mrs. Cooper!
